Terms of Use

1. Who we are

2048 Diner is provided by Row0 Inc, a company registered in Canada, at 10 Milmar Ct, Markham, Ontario L3T 4J2, Canada. Questions can be sent to support+merge.diner@row0.ai.

2. App license

2048 Diner is licensed, not sold. Your App Store license is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add game-specific rules about virtual items, purchases, cloud save, support, and our services. If a mandatory consumer law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights continue to apply.

3. Playing fairly

You may use 2048 Diner for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not cheat, exploit bugs, automate play, manipulate purchases or saves, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute modified copies, or use the game in a way that violates law or another person’s rights. Security research protected by applicable law is not prohibited, but please report vulnerabilities responsibly before public disclosure.

4. Virtual currency and items

Coins, lives, tools, stars, rewards, and other virtual items are licensed game content. They have no cash value, are not property or a bank balance, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be redeemed for money. We may tune free rewards, level balance, and virtual-item costs to keep the game fair. We will not use a balance change to withhold a purchase Apple has already charged.

5. In-app purchases

• Purchases are processed by Apple StoreKit and are subject to Apple’s App Store terms, prices, taxes, family settings, and payment rules.
• 2048 Diner sells consumable coin packs and coin-and-tool bundles. Consumables are depleted through play and can be bought again.
• The app may offer a one-time welcome bundle and a first-purchase bonus for particular products. Eligibility is checked using an anonymous purchase history.
• Apple’s localized price shown in the purchase sheet is authoritative. Screenshots, design documents, or previews are not an offer at a different price.
• If a charge succeeds but delivery is delayed, keep the app installed and contact support. We use the Apple transaction record to deliver the grant once and avoid duplicates.
• Refund requests and billing decisions are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support.

6. Save sync and availability

2048 Diner is local-first and can be played offline, but some features require Apple or internet services. iCloud save requires an available iCloud account and may be delayed by network, quota, account, or platform conditions. We work to protect progress and legitimate purchases, but you should not rely on 2048 Diner as permanent storage. Do not delete the app while a purchase or recovery issue is unresolved unless support advises it.

7. Updates and service changes

We may patch, update, rebalance, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue game features for security, legal compliance, platform changes, maintenance, or product reasons. We may disable purchase presentation during an incident while continuing to fulfill transactions Apple already charged. We will use reasonable care to avoid unnecessary loss of legitimate paid value.

8. Privacy

Our 2048 Diner Privacy Notice explains always-on first-party gameplay measurements, optional GameAnalytics, cloud save, purchase records, retention, deletion, and your choices. Optional GameAnalytics is not required to play.

9. Intellectual property and feedback

2048 Diner, its software, art, audio, characters, levels, text, and branding are owned by Row0 or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. If you voluntarily send ideas or feedback, you grant Row0 a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free right to use them without obligation, while you retain ownership of any rights that cannot lawfully be assigned.

10. Third-party services

2048 Diner depends on services such as Apple App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, first-party hosting/database infrastructure, and optional GameAnalytics. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Row0 is not responsible for third-party outages or decisions outside its reasonable control.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 2048 Diner and related services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. This does not exclude warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Row0 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, business, or data, arising from 2048 Diner. Row0’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the game will not exceed the greater of US $50 or the amount you paid for 2048 Diner purchases in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using 2048 Diner at any time. We may limit service access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, attacks, legal requirements, or risks to players or the service. Your App Store purchase history and obligations that reasonably should survive termination may remain in effect.

14. Governing law

Except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any action arising out of or relating to these terms will be filed only in the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario or the Federal Court of Canada. For consumers in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Canada, or another jurisdiction with mandatory local rights, you may also rely on those rights and use the courts or dispute processes available where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for new features, legal requirements, security, or service changes. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use the game after an effective update means you accept the revised terms, except where law requires another form of consent.
